ISTANBUL AND COASTAL DELIGHTS

Day 1 - ISTANBUL -Arrival and transfer to Celal Sultan Hotel in the old town area, for a stay of 3 nights .  Free time to explore the old town area.  Tour of the city by night.

Day 2- ISTANBUL -After breakfast visit Topkapi Palace overlooking the Bosphorus.  Continue to the Hippodrome (a site of Roman Chariot races and Byzantine civic life).  Lunch.  After lunch continue to the Blue Mosque. Then to St. Kariye, an 11th century church considered one of the most important in the world.  Finish your daily tour by visiting the spice bazaar at the base of the Golden Horn. Overnight in Istanbul.

Day 3- ISTANBUL -After breakfast visit the Haghia Sofia, whose dome is one of the ancient world's great wonders, built at the command of Emperor Justinian. Visit the Archeological Museum, which includes the celebrated Alexander Sarcophagus and the adjacent Museum of the ancient orient, a little known museum without parallel. After lunch visit Dolmabahçe Palace and continue your day with a visit to Covered Bazaar.  Overnight in Istanbul.

Day 4- IZMIR -After breakfast leave for the flight to Izmir.  Arrival in Izmir and check-in at the hotel.  Leave for the important site of Pergamum and return late to hotel for overnight in Izmir.

Day 5- EPHESUS/KUSADASI -After breakfast leave for the ancient city of Ephesus and continue to the House of Virgin Mary, and lunch in Selcuk.  After lunch visit the church of St. John and the Selcuk Museum.  Return and overnight in Kusadasi.

Day 6- PRIENE/MILET/DIDYMA/BODRUM -Leave after early breakfast to visit Priene and Milet and continue to Didyma.  Lunch by Bafa Lake.  Continue to Bodrum and check-in at hotel.  Free afternoon to explore the many beaches and the lively town.

Day 7- BODRUM -Leave after an early breakfast to visit the underwater Archeological Museum and the Castle of St. Peter.  At around 11.30 board a boat for a daily boat trip. The boat trip will take you to the surrounding bays and to Karaada (an island opposite Bodrum) famous for its therapeutic mud.  Return to hotel late afternoon and overnight in Bodrum.

Day 8- MARMARIS -Leave after breakfast to drive to Marmaris. The road is a pleasant one with scenic countryside.  Check-in at hotel and enjoy a city tour after lunch and join a boat tour to discover the calm, blue bays surrounding the area.  Return to hotel in the late afternoon and overnight in Marmaris.

Day 9- MARMARIS -Explore the area and the facilities of your hotel and the local beaches during this free day.

Day 10- DALYAN/ÖLÜDENIZ(Dead Sea) -Leave after an early breakfast for Dalyan where you will take a boat trip and enjoy the Kaunos antique site along the riverside. After returning from boat trip continue to Ölüdeniz. This is a lagoon like inlet on the sea that is covered with amazingly white sandy beaches and has warm water within the lagoon are and cooler waters on the adjacent Mediterranean beaches.  Stay overnight in a hotel close to the Dead Sea.

Day 11- KALKAN -After early breakfast enjoy a swim in the beaches that surround you. Then leave for Kalkan and reach this quaint little town after lunch on the way.  Check-in at your hotel and either enjoy exploring the area and the beaches or join an optional boat tour.

Day 12- KAS/ANTALYA -Leave Kalkan after an early breakfast for Kas, where you will enjoy a few hours of sightseeing and exploration.  After lunch continue to Antalya. Check-in at the hotel and enjoy an evening tour of the city after dinner.  Overnight in Antalya.

Day 13- ANTALYA -Leave after an early breakfast to visit Phaselis, Termessos, Mount Olympos. Enjoy lunch at an arts and crafts center.  Continue to a waterfall in the area and, if enough time to Aspendos Theatre.  Return to hotel and overnight in Antalya.

Day 14- RETURN JOURNEY -Leave hotel
